Bean Counter 4 Hire, LLC is currently seeking candidates for our Bookkeeper position. This position manages the day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll processing for our portfolio of clientele. This is a part-time position with an opportunity to grow into full-time. The position requires an initial commitment to 20 hours per week and you get to choose your schedule as long as it's during our normal business hours. Team members are required to participate in weekly team meetings. We offer competitive compensation and performance rewards.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work directly with the company's CEO & Sr. Controller.
Utilizing a formal accounting education or experience performing bookkeeping functions utilize a variety of software ( Xero, Bill.com, etc.) to perform accounting transactions based on GAAP standards.
Perform bank and credit card transaction categorization on a daily basis and related account reconciliations on a monthly basis.
Manage the accounts payable function by processing vendor invoices, ensuring approval authorizations, and initiating bill payments.
Perform customer invoicing and appropriate collections/follow-ups.
Process payroll in applicable payroll systems, manage timesheet approval processes and reconcile payroll transaction entries within the accounting system.
Deliver financial reporting to clients on established weekly, monthly, and quarterly schedules.
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting - Preferred
Accounting Students welcome to apply
Certificate in Accounting or Bookkeeping - Preferred
Strong GAAP Accounting skills required
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to problem solve and work independently
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be comfortable and proficient with advanced with technology
Experience reviewing Tax Returns and processing Payroll
